Action Member: Yuen Yat-Choh

It’s very strange how such a well-polished and highly entertaining film has come under such criticism from some Hong Kong film fans.

Many of the fight sequences are powerful and realistic, and there is a good balance between cinematic choreography and outright simple bloodshed.

Considering they both draw inspiration from the same source, it’s no surprise that ‘Legend Of A Fighter’ often feels a little too similar to ‘Fist Of Fury’.

This is a real love it or hate it kind of movie and while I found it to be extremely amusing and entertaining, I have only given it 3 out of 5 as it is not likely to be viewed more than a couple of times.

While ‘Tiger Cage’ is not quite as good as the amazing sequel, it is certainly a flick which no Hong Kong, or action fan should miss out on.
