‘Burning Paradise’ is definitely a worthy addition to the classic kung fu genre as well as the many legends of Fong Sai Yuk.

Avid fans of Chow’s humour can also rest assured as this is one of his sharpest films.

Almost non-existent scripting and farcical characters that fail to provide the film with the necessary substance.

The plot definitely leaves a lot to be desired but I’d say the final fight is worth the admission price alone.
