Cast Member: Jang Dong-Gun

An unflinching look at a violent part of Korea’s history and how the terror of war really does tear people apart both figuratively and literally.

‘Love Wind, Love Song’ is given extra impetus by the performance of its stars, in particular Ko So-Young who is effortlessly charming as the lovestruck Young-seo.

‘My Way’ is a based-on-true-events film with significant embellishments and dramatic orchestration. Of course, that’s not to say it isn’t very affecting overall though.

It will lose most of it’s audience by the 20 minute mark and even those that do manage to stay engaged past that point will likely be sleeping by the time our heroes ‘Fly away into the sunset’.

A western, samurai, comic book, video game, ‘The Warrior’s Way’ is marred by this muddled mix of genres and styles.

The whole production just doesn’t seem to pay enough attention to the plot or characters, and seems far more concerned with flaunting its lavish locales.
