Yoshihiro Togashi’s supernatural manga ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ is getting a brand new original animation to celebrate the 25th anniversary. The OVA will adapt the ‘Two Shot’ bonus chapter from the manga’s seventh volume, as well as the penultimate chapter ‘All or Nothing’. ‘Two Shot’ tells the story of how Kurama and Hiei met, while ‘All or Nothing’ shows the main characters reuniting to solve a hostage crisis in the spirit world.

• The 22nd Detective Conan movie, ‘Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer’ continues to rule the Japanese box office even in its third weekend. The film sold an impressive 453,000 tickets in the weekend of April 28-29, which was 16,000 more than ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ did in its opening weekend.

• A new visual (seen above) was unveiled this week for the upcoming anime film adaptation of Atto’s comedy/slice of life manga ‘Non Non Biyori’. Released in Japan on August 25, ‘Non Non Biyori Vacation’ will tell the story of the “Okinawa Trip Arc” as featured in Atto’s original manga. The main cast and staff will all be returning from the previous two television anime seasons.

• The official website for the upcoming original mecha anime ‘Planet With’ has announced that Minami will be performing the opening theme song ‘One Unit’. The series, which premieres this Summer, will be written and storyboarded by Satoshi Mizukami (‘Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer’, ‘Spirit Circle’) and directed by Youhei Suzuki.
