Variety has reported that China’s Twinkle Film Productions has acquired the remake rights for the Danish animated movie, ‘Ronal the Barbarian’ and will be making a live-action version of the film.
‘Ronal the Barbarian’ tells the tale of a weak barbarian who becomes a hero when his village gets attacked.
“We are just now starting the development of the film. It is a good, hero story but in a very funny way,” said Sheng Deng, Head of Twinkle Film.
