Eureka Entertainment have announced the theatrical release of ‘Creepy’ (クリーピー 偽りの隣人), director Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s breath-taking psychological thriller, in selected cinemas nationwide (UK & Ireland) and Digital HD from 25 November 2016.

Based on a novel by Yutaka Maekawa, ‘Creepy’ follows ex-police detective and criminal psychologist Takakura, who moves to a quiet suburban town seeking peace and quiet, but soon begins to suspect that his neighbour is a psychopath who comes into people’s households and takes over their lives.

Kiyoshi Kurosawa, who won Best Director in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival 2015 for his elegiac drama ‘Journey to the Shore’, returns to genre in which he made his name with this “creepy” psychological thriller. Bringing in a great ensemble cast of leading Japanese actors & actresses, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, who also co-wrote the screenplay, has been quoted as saying: “Each actor exudes a mysterious delicacy and ferocity, which the camera has somehow been able to capture. The end result is this breath-taking thriller.”
