‘Baby’ (宝贝儿) is a 2018 Chinese drama written and directed by Liu Jie.
The film follows an unmarried woman who attempts to help a child facing similar health and family issues as she once did. The cast includes Yang Mi, Guo Jingfei, Lee Hong-Chi, and Wang Yanjun.
Synopsis: When a woman, who was abandoned at birth due to a genetic disorder, sees a child facing the same fate, she finds herself trying to persuade their parents to reconsider and goes to extreme lengths to save the child.
‘Baby’ opens across China on October 19, 2018.
