‘Louder! Can’t Hear What You’re Singin’, Wimp!’ (音量を上げろタコ!なに歌ってんのか全然わかんねぇんだよ!!) is an upcoming Japanese comedy written and directed by Satoshi Miki.

The plot follows the front-man in a rock band who decides to take a meek singer under his wing to help her find her voice. The cast includes Sadao Abe, Riho Yoshioka, Yudai Chiba, Kumiko Aso, and Eiji Kotoge.

Synopsis: Sin (Sadao Abe) is a rock icon whose charisma and powerful voice have propelled him to the top of the music scene. Sin, however, also hides a heavy secret: he regularly receives shots of steroids to boost his vocal chords. During a hectic concert, a stream of blood suddenly starts gushing out of his mouth as his drug abuse has caused his larynx to burst. Meanwhile, the shy Fuka (Riho Yoshioka) is thrown out of her band for having too weak a voice, which sounds closer to whispering than singing. When she runs into Sin he decides to take her under his wing and help her find her voice.

‘Louder! Can’t Hear What You’re Singin’, Wimp!’ opens across Japan on October 12, 2018.
