It’s hard to believe that such a good cast could come up with something so mediocre. This war-time action ‘comedy’ features Lau and Mui on the trail of the ‘fortune code’ and needing to get into a prison camp to find it. What follows is a mixture of weak comedy and standard action. You’d expect a film with Sammo in would have something special in the action department, but even this is very average and certainly not up to his usual quality.
Not the worst film ever made, but very disappointing.
