I finally replaced my broken graphics card so have reverted to some PC gaming of late. Ironically, the game I've been playing the most is Team Fortress 2, which is also the game I play the most on Xbox. However, the PC version has been drastically updated to include numerous new features so it's like playing a whole new game again. Aside from that, I've also been playing Killing Floor, which is a co-op zombie FPS, and I gave Battlefield: Bad Company 2 a go but haven't really been able to get into it.

Finally picked up Gears Of War 3, which is as entertaining and solid as ever. The changes aren't exactly what you would call major, but they have done enough to make it feel fresh and a bit more finely tuned. As you would expect, the campaign offers up another impressive helping of giant adversaries and the inclusion of four player co-op is very welcome. Horde mode has also been given some nice touch ups, such as defensive capabilities, and beast mode is a lot of fun, if perhaps a touch too short/easy.

DITTO, Lovin GOW3 campaign was excellent im loving Horde at the moment, lots of fun to be had and with more map packs coming out should still keep the game fresh for a fair while.

Following on from my above post, Deus Ex was indeed excellent.

I have recently, predictably, played COD: MW3 - which was... just like all the others. I'm on FIFA12 a lot if anyone fancies an easy win.

Other than that I am open to new recommendations.

I will, undoubtedly, get the new Zelda soon. Those boys at the Big N sure know how to make 'em!

Picked up Terraria in the Steam sale and was quite disappointed. The game is kind of like a 2D Minecraft but with a lot less features. And just like that game, it has no real purpose other than to gather resources, fight enemies, and build crappy houses. I played with a friend and after about 30 mins of tapping away at tiny blocks and chopping down wood, we were completely bored.

Also grabbed Lead And Gold in the sale and although it has potential, the community already seems to be dead. Essentially it's just a team based shooter with a few different classes to mix things up. It's far from original but the graphics aren't bad and it plays relatively well. As I said though, the main problem is that there seem to be very few people still playing online and seeing as how this is a multiplayer only game, it's pretty much a waste of time.

Ditto Deus Ex I loved, MW3 was same and online not as good as Black ops, so back to GOW3 for me, I also play FIFA12 and suck at that as well so we could play and spend 120 mis including extra time missing the net then goto penalties and watch each of us hit various parts of the woodwork and corner flags, thrilling

Just started playing Bulletstorm on Xbox360. Aside from the whole "skill kill" thing, this is basically just an old school Duke Nukem style FPS with lots of enemies to butcher and a wise cracking protagonist. It's pretty and is fun in short bursts, but I don't think it's a game that I can see myself playing long term.
