The Shock Doctrine - Pretty intense stuff and gives a interesting angle on the Iraq war.

Jack The Ripper by Daniel Farson: Considered by many to answer who the Ripper actually was, although there's no hard evidence the conclusion he comes to is very hard to argue.

Mcarthy - The Crossing: Cant remember if I mentioned this. If you havent read his books you really are missing out. This is one of the longer more philosophical ones and stands miles above most books. Gets my vote for one of the best writers living or dead.

Bukowski - Women: Hilarious fiction with probably more than an ounce of truth to it. Great stuff.

Frankenstein

Not the easiest book to get into due to the long-winded writing style but I'm about half way through now and finally settling into it

Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes

Being a bit of a born again reader these days, I'm working my way through the classics so wanted to give Sherlock Holmes a try. This particular book is made up of short stories so some of the cases are more interesting than others but its still entertaining throughout.

Just started Sleazoid Express. You can usually tell a good book from the first page and this is one of them!

The Walking Dead Volume 6 - I love these collections of a brilliant comic. Surprisingly they just keep getting darker and darker...

Hannibal Rising - I spotted this on my brothers bookshelf and so pinched it for a read as I thought it would be a bit of trashy fun. Unfortunately only the 'trashy' part of that was correct and about a quarter of the the way in I'm rapidly losing interest...

Sounds like the film was a perfect adaptation then :D

Is the film pants then? I never really liked the films for these books except for Ratners version Red Dragon (yes really) so I haven't taken much notice of whether the Hannibal Rising film was any good. Any way, I've dumped the book for now and I'm reading Dracula again (last time was about 10 years ago). Stokers classic book might be over a hundred years old but it's still a really easy, fun read. I'm loving it.
