Tron Legacy

Postby Phil on Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:09 pm

Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

This is supposedly the new trailer and I have to say, it's looking damn good. I like the fact that it has a lot of the original cast and the effects look slicker but still faithful to the classic look. I may, and I stress may, have to make a cinema trip for this one.

Agreed. I think this will be one where I put a ban on looking for more info about it. Thus, I approach it afresh.

Please God no. Why does Hollywood have to contantly piss on my childhood. There is no way this can be any good. Can there?

The technology is certainly right now. The original film was the first to use computer animation with live action. The trailer looks good, but there again good trailers don't guarantee good features.
