I've heard such contrasting reviews about the majority of them - the argument about whether some are actually just upscales seems to crop up ad naeseum on other forums. I was interested in An Autumn's Tale as its such a good film and whatever the blu-ray is like, it'll be an improvement on my dvd. The scans from the review look good, but just found out it was locked to region A! Such a stupid idea.

Yup, this is where a region free player really comes in handy. Might wanna invest in one if you love these films as much as I do.

so what is the very worst quality blu-ray at the moment? I hear Police Story 1&2 are poor upscales - I hope this return of HKL in Uk will give us a proper hd transfer of it.
