Spot a Bargain...

Postby martin on Sat Jun 27, 2009 9:51 pm

So I was looking for a few films and came across some really cheap ones... I thought we could have a thread for when people spy a proper bargain...

Here's a couple I just found:

City of Violence 2-disc set £2.98 Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/City-Violence-Disc-Collectors-DVD/dp/B000OIOJI2/ref=pd_sim_d_h__56

HKL John Woo set (Bullet In The Head / The Killer / Once A Thief) £5.98 Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/John-Woo-DVD-Chow-Yun-Fat/dp/B000AM6N9K/ref=pd_sim_d_h__49
(According to the feedback this is the 2-disc version of BITH)

Woah.... and I'm already officially broke. Oh well, out comes the credit card...

Anyone know if the blu-ray of Shaolin soccer is worth an upgrade from the hk disc?

According to a forum post I found: "Both cuts of the film on the disc - original and international - no extras. Transfer is solid but unspectacular."
