Reviews you would like to see...

Postby Phil on Thu Oct 01, 2009 6:03 pm

At the moment, the majority of reviews we do are quite random and we mostly just use the films that are currently sitting in our "to watch" piles. However, I thought it might be quite interesting to open up the floor to you guys to see if there are any specific films that you would like to see us cover in the near future. These might be films that you think deserve more recognition or just titles that you are unsure about purchasing, but whatever the reason feel free to make the suggestion and we will do our best to add them to our lists.

Ninja in Ancient China

I've heard a lot of good things about the handsome owner of the company that released it in the UK......

The recent run of themed reviews, the ninja ones, is a nice touch. Every so often that could be a good touch, or tying similar veined reviews together?

Thanks mate, I do try to work my way through a specific genre or series of films in one go, although sometimes it gets tedious after you've seen several. I was considering a Halloween themed update with only horror films but thats always hard to pull together.

Horror is a good idea, I do fancy watching some decent Asian horrors if anyone has any suggestions.

I agree on the horror front. It would be nice to see some more reviews of that genre outside of the obvious ones.

Econdor. Have you seen any of the following:-
A Tale Of Two Sisters
The Ring
Ju-On (The Grudge)
R-Point
Audition
Dark Water
Korma
Hansel & Gretel
The Eye
Inner Senses
One Missed Call
The Phone
Three Extremes
The Red Shoes
Into The Mirror
Bio Zombie

There's a good place to start if you haven't seen any. Quite a few are available for rental in the UK.

Not so much reviews I would like to see, but maybe a better way of working through them. If I know the films title, then I always come by the site and check out what you all have to say. But sometimes I like to explore a little - it would be good if you could list the films by genre, country of origin, year of release, reviewers name etc.
