Classic movies you've never seen...

Postby Phil on Tue Feb 08, 2011 7:31 pm

Inspired by a recent Mondo Movie podcast, I was wondering if there are any so-called classic movies out there that you are a little embarassed to admit you've never seen?

I'll kick off and admit that I'm yet to see 'Casablanca', 'Gone With The Wind' or a single Yasujiro Ozu film

You've probably heard it many times before then but you should really check out Yojimbo and Seven Samurai. Both truly are landmark films that still hold up well today. I'm making it a bit of my mission to try and watch some of the classics I've missed this year. Hopefully it goes better than my plan to reduce my "to watch" pile :P

It's weird, I've watched tons of 60s samurai films but never any Kurosawa
