Ponyo On The Cliff

After watching the trailer on the homepage, I think it looks rather good. Who else is considering to pick this one up?

I'm a sucker for all things Ghibli so it'll definitely be one I pick up (and hopefully review now we're back). At first I was a little unsure as the "Little Mermaid" aspect put me off but just seeing that trailer made me realise it has that Miyazaki charm.

Mr Miyazaki has yet to let me down, so consider me hyped. My two favourite films from Ghibli arent even directed by him: Whisper Of The Heart and Only Yesterday, but i've still loved everything he's put his pen and imagination to.

Wonder if it'll get a decent release, although i'm doubting it'll be as big as Howl's or Spirited Away.

I love the english voice actors casted!

Liam Neisson?! He has "the voice".

More than looking forward to this, I'll bide my time for the UK DVD.

Its always nice to see them put effort into the English dubs but personally I don't think I've ever listened to any of them

My daughter likes some of the Ghibli films, so I usually end up watching the dub as subs are a bit much for her age and I have to admit they do get known actors to play the main parts.
