Is our news relevant?

Someone recently pointed out to me that they feel the news we cover on the site is a little too obscure to be interesting. Now I know I tend to be a little random (and perhaps biased) with some of the stories I choose, but I do try to cover all the Asian territories and mix it up with DVD releases.

So do you feel we are covering the right things? What do you think is hot and what is not? Any feedback much appreciated

i don't think it's obscure. asian cinema is that broad that obscure to one person is red hot news to another.

I think those who think it's a little too obscure might be on the wrong site. I think its broad enough and I certainly enjoy reading it.

It doesn't get much broader a topic than "Far East Films" - especially considering you have countries like Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and more... plus the actors from these films often branch out into other genres (Music, Modelling etc...)

That leaves you with a huge pot from which to ladle a serving of news. No such thing as too obscure when that's your basis.

You do, and have always done, a fantastic job with this site Phil. Long may it continue.

Im here cos I know you'll pick out stories that are of interest to me, as a Far East Film fan i want to know these things that you wont find in your big publications.
Were here as a community to get the gossip about our fave films and stars and I think you and us as a team do that and provide a service to a small gorup but yet an important grioup taht woudl otherwise have to trawl through the net to find scraps of news.

I think the mix works very well. To be honest I've tuned out on the whole news front but Is till feel I get what I feel is needed to know beforehand and that even includes the obscure stuff so continue to not let me down, Phil.
