Anyone ever catch this? I saw it in the hmv sale and wondered if it was worth picking it up, or just going with a rental?

I've gone down the rental road. I like the idea a lot, but this has had a few poor reviews so I'm playing it safe.

Enjoyed Mr.Skeates' review. I don't think I'll be in a rush to see it though.

I managed to see this when it first came out in Japan, a rare instance that English subtitles were present on the first release.

Anyhoos, i'd say that if you don't have much patience then you might get a bit bored with this film as it's quite slow to get going, there are moments though which are just funny in that odd Matsumoto way.....if you're familiar with him that is.

It's definately worth a watch because it's different. And the ending is just brilliant.

I've been on the fence, it has been available for streaming via Netflix (or had been) but I feel like I have beter things to waste my time on. I guess when I run out of other movies...
