I won my fist DVD through the site this week (Yahoo! ) and it occurred to me that although competitons go up in the News section quite often I can't ever remember seeing winners announced anywhere. Am I missing something?

No you're absolutely right DM, I don't really bother doing it. At one time I did (back in the old DDUK days), but a few people got funny about having their names printed so I just started notifying the individuals by email. You think we should bring it back?

I thought I remembered names being put up at the old DDUK site and thought I may be missing something here. Personally I like to see winners announcements, even if I haven't won myself. Sometimes its just a reminder that the competition is over. At the end of the day if someone doesn't want the publicity why enter at all? You could always say at the end of the competition details that the winners will be named after the draw.

Just a quick question. In my email response to winning a DVD in a website competition I was told it was being sent by the prize donators...... but six weeks on now I still haven't received anything. Do you have any confirmation of sending or any idea as to when this will be arriving? I'd hate to think this has gone astray in the post.

Didn't get around to adding the list of winners for these current comps but I'll be sure to do it for all future competitions we run.

I finally got my prize and an apology for the delay from the supplier. It wasn't even their faulty the first one went AWOL in the post. Still, the sorry note was a nice touch. Thanks for taking care of things Phil.
