Tai One Multimedia have announced the Taiwanese DVD release of 'Truck' for the 8th October, 2010. Directed by Kwon Hyung Jin ('My Piano'), the film stars Yu Hae Jin as a man driven down an increasingly desperate and dangerous road as he shares a truck with a killer.

The full trailer has been released for 'Shaolin', the upcoming martial arts epic from director Benny Chan. The film, which is officially sanctioned by the famous kung-fu temple, centres around a group of Shaolin monks who protect and shelter civilians from the wrath of an evil warlord.

Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray releases of 'Ong Bak 3' for the 11th October, 2010. Directed by Tony Jaa and Panna Rittikrai, the film picks up the events directly after part two and finds Tien training in a new style of martial arts so that he can exact his bloody vengeance.

The trailer has been released for 'Abacus And Sword', a new samurai-themed drama from director Yoshimitsu Morita. Based on a story by Michifumi Isoda, the film is set at a time in Japan's history when the way of the samurai was on the decline so one warrior is forced to become an accountant.

A new feature-length movie for the ninja comedy television anime 'Nintama Rantaro' is set to open across Japan in March 2011. The film will be directed by original character designer Masaya Fujimori and will retain the vocal talents of the cast from the long-running anime show.

Sony Pictures have announced the US DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'The Karate Kid' for the 5th October, 2010. Directed by Harald Zwart ('Agent Cody Banks'), the film is a remake of the 1984 film of the same name that stars Will Smith's son Jaden as the titular "kid" and Jackie Chan as the Mister Miyagi character.

The trailer has been released for 'Horny House Of Horror', a new low budget splatterfest from effects maestro Yoshihiro Nishimura ('Tokyo Gore Police'). The film stars AV idols Asami, Mint Suzuki and Saori Hara, and is being described as "a requiem of love and sorrow dedicated to the men of the world".

Following the unprecedented success of last Friday's sold out screening of 'Big Tits Zombie' at London's Prince Charles Cinema, the cinema has decided to make the film a regular monthly screening event. The next screening will take place on Saturday, 16th October 2010.

Korean director Kim Ji-Woon ('The Good, The Bad, The Weird') is set to make his Hollywood debut with the action thriller 'Last Stand'. The film will apparently centre around a drug cartel leader who uses a Gumpert Apollo race car to break out of a courthouse and then hightails it to the Mexican border.

The guys over at Scott Adkins Fanz have created a new Facebook page for the upcoming Jean Claude Van Damme - Scott Adkins collaboration 'Weapon'. The group includes poster art, numerous behind the scenes photos and one video of Van Damme's son Kristopher who is also set to appear in the film.
