The trailer and poster art have been released for 'Aftershock', a new disaster drama based around the Tangshan Earthquake. Directed by Feng Xiaogang, the film focuses on a young woman's traumatic memory of surviving the devastating earthquake that took the lives of over 240,000 people.

Brightspark have announced the UK DVD release of 'Kung Fu Killer' for the 7th June, 2010. The film stars David Carradine as a white martial arts master and spiritual guru who attempts to track down his Wudang Grandmaster's murderer in the bowels of the Shanghai underworld.

A second trailer has been released for 'Ocean Heaven', the new contemporary drama from debut filmmaker Xue Xiaolu. The film marks the first non-action role for Jet Li and centres around the relationship between a father and his autistic son. Other cast members include Zhang Wen, Karen Mok and Stanley Huang.

Palisades Tartan have announced the UK DVD release of 'Sleeping Bride' for the 31st May, 2010. Directed by Hideo Nakata ('Ring') and based on a manga by Osamu Tezuka ('Astroboy'), the film is a tragic romance that tells the story of teenage boy who falls in love with a comatose girl.

The teaser trailer has been released for 'I Saw the Devil', the new crime thriller from director Kim Ji-Woon ('The Good, The Bad, The Weird'). The film centres around a secret agent (Lee Byung-Hun) who is willing to sacrifice anything to capture the psychopath (Choi Min-Sik) responsible for killing his fiance.

During a recent interview, producer Raymond Wong stated that all the rumours regarding the possibility of an 'Ip Man 3' were exactly that - rumours! Wong revealed that he has never said anything about the possibility of a third film and, like Yen, he feels that there are just far too many movies about Yip Man.

4Digital Asia have announced the UK DVD release of 'Hidden Fortress: The Last Princess' for the 28th June, 2010. The film is a remake of Akira Kurosawa's 1958 classic and tells the tale of hidden gold bullion and a princess on the run. The cast includes Jun Matsumoto, Kippei Shiina, and Masami Nagasawa.

The trailer has been released for 'Gothic & Lolita Psycho', a new tongue-in-cheek action/gore flick from director Go Ohara ('Geisha Assassin'). The film stars actress and gravure idol Rina Akiyama as a normal girl who transforms into a demon of vengeance after her mother is brutally slain.

It has been revealed that Hollywood action star Ray Park and Japanese actress/model Eriko Sato have joined the cast of 'Future Fighters', China's first ever international 3D sci-fi epic. Set in the 22nd Century, the film centres around a band of freedom fighters as they battle to defend the solar system.
