The trailer has been released for 'Perfect Wedding', a new romantic comedy starring Miriam Yeung and Raymond Lam. Directed by Barbara Wong, the film sees Yeung playing the boss of a wedding planning company who finds love when she is forced to work alongside a young attorney.

Pink Eiga have announced the US DVD release of 'The Japanese Wife Next Door Part 2' for the 14th October, 2010. Directed by Yutaka Ikejima and starring the sexy Yazaki Akane, the film is a raunchy comedy that tells the tale of a businessman who goes in search of a wife.

Director Ross Boyask ('Ten Dead Men') has revealed that his next movie is the action-packed fantasy flick 'Warrioress'. Inspired by tales of sword and sorcery such as 'Red Sonja' and 'Excalibur', the film will star Cecily Fay, Joelle Simpson, Christian Howard, Brendan Carr and Helen Steinway Bailey.

'Flirting Scholar 2' is now availble to own on HK DVD and Blu-Ray, courtesy of Panorama. Directed by Lee Lik Chi, the film is a prequel to the 1993 Stephen Chow period comedy that sees Huang Xiaoming taking over the role of Tong Pak Fu who is still looking to escape his scholarly lifestyle.

A second trailer has been released for 'Reign Of Assassins', the upcoming swordplay epic from director Su Chao Bin ('Silk'). Produced by John Woo and Terence Chang, the film stars Michelle Yeoh as an assassin who inherits the sacred  remains of a legendary martial artist.

Asmik have announced the Japanese DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Tetsuo - The Bullet Man' for the 4th November, 2010. Directed by Tsukamoto Shinya, the film is the third entry in the hard-hitting sci-fi series and centres around an American living in Tokyo who begins the transformation into the metallic superman.

Bandai Visual have announced the Japanese DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Outrage' for the 3rd December, 2010. The film sees actor-director Takeshi Kitano making a welcome return to the violent world of the Japanese yakuza as it depicts the power struggles among a group of Tokyo gangsters.

Producer Raymond Wong is finally set to start work on 'Wisely', a project he shelved a few years back in favour of making 'Ip Man'. The movie will reportedly have an estimated budget of around 100m yuan and will star a little known actor by the name of Donnie Yen (sigh).

Edko Films have announced the HK DVD release of 'Ocean Heaven' for the 9th September, 2010. The film marks the directorial debut of Xue Xiaolu, who co-wrote and starred in Chen Kaige's 'Together', and sees martial arts actor Jet Li taking on a rare dramatic role without any action elements.

Japanese actor/director Takeshi Kitano has announced plans for a sequel to his recent crime drama 'Outrage', which competed for the Palme d’Or in Cannes this May. The project will mark the first time that Kitano has made a sequel to one of his films throughout his entire 22-year directing career.
