Jackie Chan and Li Bingbing will play husband and wife for a new historical movie entitled 'The 1911 Revolution'. Set to feature an all-star cast of over 70 actors, the project has been organised as part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution which will take place in November 2011.

Throughout September/November, the Barbican centre in London will be hosting 'Girlsworld: Women in Contemporary Japanese Cinema'. The series will showcase the diverse representation of women in 21st century Japanese cinema, different styles of storytelling and design, and debut films from female directors.

4Digital Asia have announced the UK Blu-Ray release of 'Death Note 1 & 2' for the 20th September, 2010. This 4 disc special edition box set comes with both feature films in Blu-Ray; 'Death Note' and 'Death Note: The Last Name' as well as two DVDs packed full of extras.

PRE.GM have announced the Korean DVD release of 'The Housemaid' for the 18th September, 2010. Directed by Im Sang Soo, the film is a retelling of Kim Ki Young's 1960 classic that centres around a housemaid who goes looking for revenge after an affair with a wealthy husband goes horribly wrong.

The trailer has been released for 'Oki's Movie', a new Korean drama from director Hong Sang-soo ('Ha Ha Ha'). The film centres around a woman named Oki, played by Jeong Yu-mi, who is torn between two men, one a young filmmaker and the other his older cinema professor.

Terracotta Distribution have announced the UK DVD release of 'Big Tits Zombie' for the 11th October, 2010. Written and directed by Takao Nakano ('Sumo Vixens'), the film is an insane horror-comedy that delivers everything the title promises and much, much more... and all in eye-popping, in-your-face 3D!

Scott Adkins ('Ninja') has signed on to appear opposite Jean Claude Van Damme in a new action movie entitled 'Weapon'. Set to start shooting in Romania this September, the film is being backed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, meaning it will probably be direct-to-DVD.
