The 2009 Chinese comedy 'Panda Express' is now available to own on HK DVD, courtesy of Panorama. Directed by Wang Yuelun ('Almost Perfect'), the film is a period laughfest abound with romance and martial arts that stars Ren Quan, Liu Hua, Deng Jiajia, Shi Ning, A Duo and He Jiong.

The trailer has been released for 'Evil Ninja', a new historical action flick from director Seiji Chiba ('Aliens Vs. Ninja'). The film stars Masashi Goda and Shuji Kashiwabara as members of the Iga ninja clan as they prepare to endure Oda Nobunaga’s final assault against them in 1581.

Mega Star have announed the HK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Fire Of Conscience' for the 14th May, 2010. Directed by Dante Lam ('The Beast Stalker'), the film is a powerhouse action thriller that stars Leon Lai and Richie Ren as opposing cops with dark pasts that build to even darker consequences.

The trailer and poster art have been released for 'The Love Of Three Smile - Scholar And Beauty', a new period comedy from actor-director Guo Degang. The film apparently adds a comedic slant to the well-known tale of Tang Bohu, and portrays the scholar as a pirate who plays hip hop music.

Zhang Hanyu, who starred in last year's Chinese espionage blockbuster 'The Message', has revealed that filming on a sequel is scheduled to begin in November. Zhang went on to say that he will appear in the sequel, and that screenwriter Kuo-Fu Chen is close to finishing the script.

Director Takashi Miike's live-action adaptation of the classic seventies anime series 'Yatterman' is now available to own on HK DVD and Blu-Ray. The film is a brilliant crime-fighting explosion of candy-coloured campness, over-the-top adventure, and pure popcorn entertainment.

The trailer has been released for 'Permanent Nobara', a live-action adapation of the popular manga series by Rieko Saibara. Directed by Daihachi Yoshida ('Funuke Show Some Love, You Losers!'), the film marks the first starring role for actress Miho Kanno since her appearance in 2002's 'Dolls'.
