Momentum Pictures have announced the UK DVD release of 'Goemon' for the 16th August, 2010. Directed by Kazuaki Kiriya ('Casshern'), the film is a spectacular period, fantasy action-adventure that is based on the life of legendary 16th century ninja bandit hero Ishikawa Goemon.

After flexing his dramatic muscles in 'Ocean Heaven', Jet Li will get back to what he does best (i.e. - kicking ass) in Tsui Hark's upcoming 3D remake of 'New Dragon Gate Inn'. The film will mark the first time that Li and Hark have worked together since 1992's 'Once Upon a Time in China III'.

Anchor Bay have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'The Killing Machine' (AKA 'Icarus') for the 16th August, 2010. Directed by and starring Dolph Lundgren, the film is an edgy, independent action movie that is packed full of extended gunfire, explosions, and an impressive body count.

Daekyung have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Inner Circle Line' for the 15th July, 2010. Initially a Master of Fine Arts project by director Cho Eun Hee, the experimental romantic drama features a captivating look of the city of Seoul and deals with themes like dual identities and personal pain.

Chinese film actor Jia Hongsheng was found dead on Monday, after apparently jumping from an apartment building in Beijing. His body was discovered on the trunk of a car at the Anyuan Beili Community in Chaoyang District at around 6:00pm. Police later roped off the site and an investigation is underway.

The full trailer has been released for 'Beck', the live-action adaptation of Harold Sakuishi’s long-running band manga. Directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi ('20th Century Boys' trilogy), the story centres around five young guys who want nothing more than to play in a rock band.

The Korean Film Archive have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Romantic Comedy Collection Of The 1950s' for the 12th July, 2010. The set includes three classic Korean romances: Lee Yong Min's 'Holiday In Seoul', Lee Byung Il's 'The Love Marriage', and Han Hyung Mo's 'A Female Boss'.

Director Lu Chuan has confirmed that his epic war movie 'The King's Feast' (formerly 'Banquet At Hongmen') will start shooting this October. The film is based around the events of the legendary Feast at Hong Gate (206 BC) and will star Chow Yun Fat as the peasant leader Liu Bang.

The trailer has been released for 'City Under Siege', the new sci-fi actioner from director Benny Chan. The film follows a circus troupe who decide to go on a crime spree after toxic gas gives them superhuman abilities. The cast includes Aaron Kwok, Ngai Sing, Jacky Wu Jing and Zhang Jingchu.

Directed by Brian Levant ('Jingle All The Way'), the film stars Chan as a secret agent who is called in to babysit the kids next door, paving the way for all kinds of "wacky" shenanigans.
