Kam & Ronson have announced the HK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'The Sorcerer And The White Snake' for the 25th November, 2011. Directed by Ching Siu Tung, the film stars Jet Li as a monk who intervenes in the relationship between a young scholar and a white snake in human form.

The trailer has been released for 'My Way', a new South Korean war drama directed by Kang Je-gyu ('Taegukgi'). Set in Japan-colonized Korea, the film stars Jang Dong-gun and Joe Odagiri as two rival marathon runners who end up serving in the same unit after they are forced to enlist in the army.

It is truly sad to hear of the death of Ricky Hui Koon Ying at the age of 65. Many Hong Kong newspapers and Asian media outlets will undoubtedly give a full obituary and biography to this cinematic great, but I thought it would be good to just remember some of those great Hui moments.

Edko Films have announced the HK DVD release of 'Love For Life' (AKA 'Life Is A Miracle') for the 17th November, 2011. Directed by Gu Changwei ('And The Spring Comes'), the film follows two fellow AIDS sufferers, played by Zhang Ziyi and Aaron Kwok, who meet by chance and fall in love with each other.

The trailer has been released for 'Speed Angels' (AKA 'Dynamic Angel'), a new racing movie directed by Jingle Ma ('Mulan'). The film revolves around three women, played by Rene Liu, Cecilia Cheung, and Tang Wei, who chase their dreams of becoming professional race-car drivers.

Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Kung Fu Panda 2' for the 14th November, 2011. The film sees the heroic panda Po (Jack Black) joining forces with The Five to track down a deadly new enemy who has been wiping out the world's kung fu masters.

The trailer has been released for 'Monster Killer', a new Japanese thriller directed by Takanori Tsujimoto ('Hard Revenge, Milly'). The film centres around two very different police detectives, played by Yuma Ishigaki and Yasuaki Kurata, who are both trying to track down the same serial killer.

The trailer has been released for 'A Ghost Of A Chance', a new supernatural courtroom farce written and directed by Koki Mitani ('The Magic Hour'). The film stars Eri Fukatsu ('Villain') as a bumbling lawyer assigned to defend a murderer whose only alibi is the testimony of a 500-year-old ghost.

Hong Kong actor Ricky Hui, one of the infamous three Hui brothers who were prominent in Hong Kong cinema throughout the 1970s and 80s, has died from a heart attack at the age of 65. Hui had reportedly been feeling unwell on Monday, and his body was discovered by his brother Stanley on Tuesday.

The full trailer has been released for 'Magic To Win', the new family-oriented adventure from director Wilson Yip ('Ip Man'). Based on the famous 'Happy Ghost' movie series, the film stars Karena Ng as a girl who sees her life undergo a drastic change after she inherits a handful of superpowers.
