A two minute teaser trailer has been released for 'Shaolin', director Benny Chan's upcoming martial arts epic. The film boasts an all-star cast that includes Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Wu Jing, Fan Bing Bing, Xing Yu and a cameo from Jackie Chan. Action choreography is being handled by Yuen Kwai.

Even though they are still yet to get the live-action 'Akira' off the ground, Warner Brothers are already looking to acquire more manga movie rights. This time around, it's the popular Japanese manga-turned-anime 'Bleach' which centres around a 15-year-old boy who obtains the power to fight evil spirits.

A second teaser trailer has been released for 'Ip Man 2', the direct sequel to the 2008 Yip Man biopic. Directed by Wilson Yip, the film finds Ip Man making the move to Hong Kong where he is forced to fend off the challenges of a local Hung Fist master, played by the legendary Sammo Hung.

Manga Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Evangelion: 1.11' for the 26th April 2010. Written and directed by Hideaki Anno ('Neon Genesis Evangelion'), the film is the first instalment of a four part project that rebuilds the seminal ‘mecha’ anime from the ground up.

The trailer has been released for 'The Stool Pigeon', a new thriller which reunites the cast and crew from 'The Beast Stalker'. Directed by Dante Lam and scripted by Jack Ng, the film focuses on a cop (Nick Cheung) who is forced to utilise a street-racer (Nicholas Tse) as an undercover informant.

E1 Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Merantau Warrior' for the 26th April 2010. Written and directed by Gareth Evans, the film is an adrenaline-fuelled action flick that delves into the world of Indonesian martial arts. The cast includes Iko Uwais, Sisca Jessica and Mads Koudal.

The trailer and poster art have been released for 'Beauty On Duty', a new romantic comedy from director Wong Jing ('I Corrupt All Cops'). The film "borrows" a number of elements from the Hollywood movie 'Miss Congeniality', and stars Charlene Choi, Sandra Ng, Louis Koo, Jim Chim and Lu Yi.

Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Universal Soldier: Regeneration' for the 5th April 2010. Directed by John Hyams, the film is an official sequel to the 1992 movie and sees the return of original stars Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren.

A second, more enticing teaser trailer has been released for 'Ong Bak 3', the second sequel (or is it se-prequel?) to Tony Jaa's 2003 smash hit. The bad news is the film's release date has slipped by a week, but in the meantime the trailer gives us a good feel for the some of the action ahead.

Cine Asia have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Tai Chi Master' for the 26th April 2010. The film sees action superstars Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh teaming up with celebrated action-director, Yuen Woo-ping, to deliver one of the most kinetic and inventive martial arts adventures of all time.
