Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Tekken' for the 3rd January, 2011. Directed by Dwight H. Little ('Rapid Fire'), the film is a live-action adaptation of the video game of the same name, and stars Jon Foo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Luke Goss and Gary Daniels.

Viz Media have announced the US DVD release of 'Naruto: Shippuden - Box Set 1' for the 26th January 2010. The 3-disc box set includes the first 13 episodes of the action-packed anime, which picks up the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki two and a half years after the end of the first series.

Director Leon Dai ('No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti') was the happiest man at last weekend's 46th Taiwan Golden Horse Film Awards as he walked away with four of the most coveted prizes. These included Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Outstanding Taiwanese Film of the Year.

Lions Gate Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Ninja' for the 15th March 2010. Directed by Isaac Florentine ('The Shepherd: Border Patrol'), the film stars Scott Adkins as a westerner studying Ninjitsu in Japan, who must return to New York to protect a legendary treasure.

Early poster art and a plot synopsis have appeared for Su Chao-bin's ('Silk) upcoming wuxia flick 'Jianyu Jianghu' (AKA 'Rain Of Swords In The Pugilistic World'). Produced by John Woo and Terence Chang, the film stars Michelle Yeoh, Jung Woo Sung, Barbie Hsu, Paw Hee Ching, Wang Xue Qi and Shawn Yue.

Eureka Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'House' (AKA 'Hausu') for the 25th January 2010. Directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi, the film is a deranged fairy tale that provides an an unforgettable mixture of bubblegum teen melodrama and grisly phantasmagoria.

Beijing-based Perfect World have reportedly signed up Yuen Woo Ping to direct an all-new wuxia adaptation of 'The Smiling, Proud Wanderer', the series of novels by Jin Yong that inspired the 'Swordsman' trilogy. The film is set to have a 200m yuan budget and is tentatively titled 'New Swordsman'.

Manga Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Naruto The Movie 3' for the 28th December 2009. The film, which is the third animated feature based on the popular anime and manga series by Masashi Kishimoto, will be available as both a standalone DVD and as part of a movie triple pack.

Third Window Films have announced the UK DVD release of 'Love Exposure' for the 25th January 2010. The film is the latest outing from acclaimed Japanese writer-director Sion Sono ('Exte: Hair Extensions'), and is a monumental work of cinema that manages to combine comedy, action, romance and drama.

The first trailer has arrived for director Gordon Chan's ('Fist Of Legend') upcoming Hollywood adaptation of 'The King of Fighters' video game. The film, which has been fairly low key,  boasts a somewhat impressive cast list that includes Maggie Q, Ray Park, Sean Faris and Francoise Yip.
