Manga Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Death Note - Complete Series' for the 28th September 2009. The 9-disc box set features all 37 episodes of the acclaimed anime series, packaged in a deluxe box complete with limited edition booklet.

Director Soi Cheang's 'Assassins' may be one of the buzz films of the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, but he's wasting no time in moving onto his next project. During a recent interview, Cheang revealed that his next picture will be a car-chase based action movie titled 'Motorway'.

Anchor Bay Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Unarmed But Dangerous' (AKA 'Kung Fu Flid') for the 21st September 2009. Written and directed by Xavier Leret ('Mine'), the film is a brand new indie Britflick that mixes violent martial arts action with the brutal gangster movie conventions.

The trailer has arrived for 'The Sun That Doesn't Set', director Setsuro Wakamatsu's big screen adaptation of the Japanese novel 'Shizumanu Taiyo'. The film stars Ken Watanabe as the chairman of an airline workers labor union who has to deal with the aftermath of the tragic 1985 JAL Flight 123 crash.

Revolver Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of 'Sick Nurses' for the 21st September 2009. Directed by Thodsapol Siriwiwat ('Suicide Me') and Paraphan Laoyont, the film is a supernatural Thai splatterfest that focuses on a group of sexy nurses who make the mistake of killing one of their own.

Chinese audiences will soon get their first taste of a fully 3D wuxia film in the form of a new live-action adapatation of the Spanish novel, 'Don Quixote'. Directed by Ah Gan ('Love Message'), the project has a budget of 70m yuan and will feature action choreography by Hung Yan Yan ('Coweb').

Funimation have announced the US DVD release of 'Sgt. Frog: Season 1, Part 1' for the 22nd September 2009. Based on the manga series by Mine Yoshizaki and directed by Junichi Sato, the show is a comedy that follows the antics of a platoon of frog-like alien invaders as they try to conquer Earth.

Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura ('Versus') is reportedly attached to direct a Hollywood movie adaptation of the Stephen King short story, 'Home Delivery'. The project is being funded by Our Thing Productions and is apparently still in the early stages of development.

Mill Creek Entertainment have announced the US DVD release of 'Ultraman: The Complete Series' for the 29th September 2009. The 4-disc set contains all 39 episodes of the 1960s live-action television series, which was created by special effects wizard Eiji Tsuburaya ('Godzilla Mothra').

Funimation have announced the US DVD release of 'D. Gray-Man: Season Two, Part One' for the 6th October 2009. The two-disc set includes episodes 27 to 39 of the anime series, which centres around the story of a young exorcist who travels the world battling monsters born from dead souls.
