5 Points Pictures have announced the US DVD release of 'Penny Pinchers' for the 21st May, 2013.  Directed by Kim Jung-Hwan, the film is a bright, laidback romance that follows the odd couple bond that develops between a broke spendthrift and an ultra frugal and resourceful woman.

A promo has been released for 'The Wrath Of Vajra', a new Chinese martial arts flick directed by Law Wing-Cheong. The film stars Xing Yu (aka Shi Yanneng) as a fierce fighter who decides to take a stand against the Japanese death cult that forcibly trained him to be an assassin.

Magnolia Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'This Girl Is Badass' (AKA 'This Girl Is Bad-Ass') for the 21st May, 2013. Directed by Petchtai Wongkamlao, the film stars Jeeja Yanin ('Chocolate') as a bike messenger who is targeted by a gang of goofy gangsters.

The trailer has been released for 'A Midsummer's Equation', a new Japanese murder mystery directed by Hiroshi Nishitani. Based on a novel by Keigo Higashino, the film tells the tale of a man who attends a presentation that turns sour after one of the guests winds up dead.

Shout Factory have announced the US Blu-Ray release of 'Bruce Lee: The Legacy Collection' for the 6th August, 2013. The set includes Blu-Ray copies of 'The Big Boss', 'Fist Of Fury', 'Way Of The Dragon' and 'Game Of Death', along with three DVDs containing two documentaries.

The trailer has been released for 'The Serialist', an upcoming Japanese murder mystery directed by Nobuaki Izaki. Based on a novel by David Gordon, the story follows a novelist who finds himself wrapped up in a series of murders after he volunteers to write the memoirs of a dying serial killer.

Donnie Yen and director Wilson Yip have reportedly left the upcoming 'Ip Man 3'. According to a Hong Kong magazine, Yip was unhappy with the project's lack of funding so producer Raymond Wong has chosen to replace him with his son, Edmond. Yen has left in support of his friend.

Indomina have announced the US DVD release of a double feature including 'Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate' and 'True Legend' for the 17th June, 2013. Although they aren't directly connected, both films are hugely enjoyable martial arts epics that are helmed by true masters of their art.

Two teaser trailers have been released for 'Bi Xian II' (AKA 'Bunshinsaba 2'), an upcoming sequel to the 2012 Chinese horror movie 'Bi Xian'. Directed by An Byeong-Ki, the films are based on the 2004 South Korean movie 'Bunshinsaba' which was also helmed by the same director.

Donnie Yen’s upcoming redux of the Clarence Ford classic 'The Iceman Cometh' is now going to be split into two separate movies. Although fans are unlikely to complain about getting double the Donnie, the decision was made after the production went way over its anticipated budget.
