Director Lu Chuan has confirmed that his epic war movie 'The King's Feast' (formerly 'Banquet At Hongmen') will start shooting this October. The film is based around the events of the legendary Feast at Hong Gate (206 BC) and will star Chow Yun Fat as the peasant leader Liu Bang.

The trailer has been released for 'City Under Siege', the new sci-fi actioner from director Benny Chan. The film follows a circus troupe who decide to go on a crime spree after toxic gas gives them superhuman abilities. The cast includes Aaron Kwok, Ngai Sing, Jacky Wu Jing and Zhang Jingchu.

Momentum Pictures have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'The Spy Next Door' for the 2nd August, 2010. Directed by Brian Levant ('Jingle All The Way'), the film stars Chan as a secret agent who is called in to babysit the kids next door, paving the way for all kinds of "wacky" shenanigans.

The full trailer has been released for 'The Borrower Arrietty', the latest full-length animated feature film from Studio Ghibli. Based on the fantasy novel 'The Borrowers' by Mary Norton, the film centres around a friendship between a human and the 10cm tall borrower known as Arrietty.

PRE.GM have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Happy Killers' for the 21st July, 2010. Directed by Kim Dong Wook ('Attack The Gas Station'), the film is an offbeat crime comedy that stars Kim Dong Wook ('Take Off') and Yu Oh Sung ('Lump Of Sugar') as rival detectives trying to catch a serial killer.

The teaser trailer has been released for 'Midnight Heartbeat', a new horror film from director Zhang Jiabei ('Cherries'). Inspired by the Japanese entries into the genre, the film centres around a series of bizarre murders in a hospital ICU. The cast includes Francis Ng, Simon Yam, Yao Di, Li Nian, Liu Yuxin and Yang Yuyu.

After being out of the industry for 3 years, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung will make her comeback in a new movie entitled 'The Great Magician'. Directed by Derek Yee and co-starring Tony Leung Chiu Wai, the film will be a period drama loosely based on the Steven Millhauser story 'Eisenheim the Illusionist'.

The Podcast On Fire team have just completed their fourth feature length audio commentary for the 1987 comedy-thriller 'Scared Stiff'. Directed by Lau Kar Wing, the film is a wild genre combination that stars Miu Kiu Wai, Eric Tsang, Emily Chu, Chow Yun Fat and Anita Mui.

Mega Star have announced the HK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Monga' for the 9th July, 2010. Beating even 'Avatar' at the local box office, the Taiwanese youth gang epic takes audiences back to the 1980s, to a time of rousing fistfights, loud floral shirts, and good old-fashioned brotherhood.

South Korean actor and singer Park Yong-ha, 33, has been found dead at his home in southern Seoul. Park was discovered in the early hours of this morning hanging from a cell phone charging cable in his room. Despite the lack of a note, the police currently believe it to be a suicide.
