Kam & Ronson have announced the HK DVD release of '20th Century Boys: The Last Chapter' for the 9th March 2010. Directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko, this final chapter of the doomsday trilogy brings about the epic showdown between the resistance fighters and the fanatical cult leader out to end the world.
Synopsis
The year is 2017, and Friend's spell over Japan is stronger than ever. With Tokyo under quarantine because of the spread of a deadly virus, Friend announces that on August 12 all will be destroyed except for those who believe in Friend. Ocho (Toyokawa Etushi), Yoshitsune (Kagawa Teruyuki), Yukiji (Tokiwa Takako), Kanna (Taira Airi), and other resistance fighters are still battling the government from underground, but Kanna has split from the group to pursue more radical means. As the clock ticks down and the sun sets over a divided Tokyo, Kenji (Karasawa Toshiaki) appears again...
