Bruceploitation is alive and well, and operating out of Hollywood! Well at least that was my first impression when I saw the trailer for a new Docu-Dramoedy (that's their word, not mine) entitled 'Bruce The Challenge'. The film uses stock footage to create a mythical bout between Lee and real-life fighter Nik Catello.
Synopsis
Nik (Knife) Catello is considered to be one of the fiercest fighters known to the Martial Arts World. When he convinces his agent to hunt down Bruce Lee, it is thought that his only intention is to conduct an exclusive interview. However, Nik actually uses the confrontation to put down a challenge to Lee, but things don't quite go according to plan...
'Bruce The Challenge' is supposedly coming to theatres near you, but no sign of any specific release dates. You can show your support though by checking out the Official Website or joining their Facebook Group.
