Confucius Say, 'Make A Movie About Me'

In a press conference held on Monday, Chinese director Hu Mei announced she is making a biopic of the well known philosopher, Confucius. The project will have an estimated budget of around 150 million yuan (21.9 million U.S. dollars) and will begin shooting in September.

Khan Chan, one of the screenwriters for John Woo's 'Red Cliff', has written the script  and a "leading actor" has already been chosen to play Confucius although Hu Mei says she wants to keep his name under wraps.
