Donnie Yen Is The Master

Donnie Yen is set to start shooting a new martial arts movie in January entitled 'Enter The Master'. Set in a US Chinatown location, the film will see Yen playing a former fighting ace who must decide whether or not to come out of hiding when a friend (Nicholas Tse) puts him in the middle of a Triad war.

'Enter The Master' will be written and directed by Chan Hing-Kai ('All's Well, End's Well 2012'), with Yen handling the action choreography. Production and sales will be dealt with by Emperor Motion Pictures Ltd.

Although Yen and Tse have worked together before (on 'Dragon Tiger Gate' and 'Bodyguards And Assassins'), Emperor's CEO Albert Lee says that "Enter The Master will take the collaboration a step further by pitting the two directly against each other, both emotionally and physically."

Meanwhile, Emperor have also unveiled two other exciting projects this week - 'Ip Man: The Final Fight' starring Anthony Wong and Dante Lam's new cop thriller 'That Demon Within'.
