First Stills From 'Don Quixote'

 

The first stills have been released from 'Don Quixote', a new Wuxia epic that is being hailed as the first Asian movie shot entirely in 3D. The story for the film is loosely based on the classic Spanish novel about a heroic knight's adventures, although the action will be relocated to the Chang'an dynasty.

According to director Ah Gan ('Love Message'), nearly 60 percent of the film is made up of special effects, all of which were produced by the English company that worked on the hit film 'Ice Age'. Guo Tao ('Kidnap') will be playing the Chinese version of Don Quixote, whilst Karena Lam, Liu Ye and Wang Gang will co-star.
