'Hello, Stranger' On Korean DVD

DS Media have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Hello, Stranger' for the 21st June, 2010. Directed by Kim Dong Hyun ('A Shark'), the 2008 Korean indie film provides a telling look at modern South Korean society through the perspectives and experiences of outsiders looking to settle.

Synopsis

Having just moved to Seoul, North Korean defector Jin Wook (Park In Soo) is trying to adjust to his new life in South Korea, but it's hard to not be shocked by all the wealth and waste that surround him when he wanders the city. One day Jin Wook meets Ting Woon (Quang Soo), an illegal Vietnamese immigrant heading to Busan to see his ex-girlfriend. Despite the language barrier, they find much in common and much to talk about, two strangers in a strange land far from home.

Artwork and trailer are below, and you can preorder the DVD now from YesAsia.com.
