Jackie Chan And Li Bingbing Wed For The Revolution

 

Jackie Chan and Li Bingbing will play husband and wife for a new historical movie entitled 'The 1911 Revolution'. Set to feature an all-star cast of over 70 actors, the project has been organised as part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution which will take place in November 2011.

In the film, Chan will play the revolutionary pioneer Huang Xing while Bingbing will play his wife Xu Zonghan. Xing was a Chinese revolutionary leader, militarist and statesman, who was the first army commander-in-chief of the Republic of China. His position was next to Sun Yat-sen and together they were known as Sun-Huang during the Xinhai Revolution.

Other cast members who have already been confirmed include Winston Chao, Sun Chun and Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee Chan.
