'Lady Ninja Kasumi - Collection 1' On US DVD

 

Tokyo Shock have announced the US DVD release of 'Lady Ninja Kasumi - Collection 1' for the 25th September, 2012. Set during the Sengoku period, the films follow a young girl who joins the Kunoichi, a powerful group of female ninjas, in order to protect her brother as well as her newly-adopted clan.

Synopsis

When Kasumi and her little brother are orphaned they are adopted by a warlord. She joins the Kunoichi, a powerful group of female ninjas, in order to protect her brother as well as her newly-adopted clan. When Kasumi investigates the disappearance of one of their spies, she discovers the spy was killed by an opposing clan. In her attempt to exact revenge for the murder she finds herself injured and being taken care of by a young man named Shingo. Her attraction to Shingo is in direct conflict with her Kunoichi code and she is forced to reevaluate her loyalties.
