Martial Arts Show Short Spoofs 'Wheels On Meals'

Actor/stuntman Chris Jones is back in action for a new short entitled 'The Ticket', which celebrates the upcoming Martial Arts Show in Birmingham. The short sees Chris going toe-to-toe with Martin Wan and Andy Taylor in a hilariously entertaining spoof of Jackie Chan's 1984 classic 'Wheels On Meals'.

We caught up with Chris to find out exactly how the short came together:

"We shot this in just over 4 hours with an hour beforehand for Choreography ideas. We didn’t actually set out to do a comedy as such, it's something that evolved as the shoot went along. Martin (the guy I’m training with at the start) and I had the idea to do a Wheels on Meals homage at the start, the rest followed on from that! We were lucky that my good friend (and awesome Hong Kong stuntman) Andy Taylor offered to help out for the day, his performance was, as always, excellent! Also thanks to Lawrence Nicklin for filming on the day. After the fantastic feedback we have had following the release of this first video, we plan to make more for sure! I hope to see plenty of people taking part in my FREE Movie Fighting Workshop at The Martial Arts Show Live 2012 on May 12th!"

The Martial Arts Show takes place on the 12th and 13th May at the NEC in Birmingham, and you can grab your own ticket from www.themartialartsshow.com. You can find out more about Chris Jones and his upcoming projects at www.chrisjonesaction.co.uk.
