'Ong Bak: The Beginning' On UK DVD And Blu-Ray

 

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Ong Bak: The Beginning' for the 15th February 2010. Directed-by and starring Tony Jaa, the film centres around a young prince who trains in the martial arts so that he can take revenge on the men who murdered his parents.

Synopsis

Tian (Jaa) is the heir of a noble dynasty in ancient Thailand. When his father, Lord Sihadecho is killed, Tian’s family falls from grace and he eventually ends up being subject to the slave traders responsible for his parent’s death. Tian endures long and inhuman torture until he is miraculously rescued by a group of guerrilla pirates. The rogues’ chief, Cher Nung, a martial arts master, immediately spots Tian’s immense potential, and so decides to train him and transform him into a deadly machine. With his newly acquired lethal skills, Tian embarks on a journey of vengeance to find and eliminate his father’s assassins.
