Raymond Wong Working On 'Wisely'
Â
Producer Raymond Wong is finally set to start work on 'Wisely', a project he shelved a few years back in favour of making 'Ip Man'. The movie will reportedly have an estimated budget of around 100m yuan and will star a little known actor by the name of Donnie Yen (sigh).
Although it is yet to be confirmed, the film will presumably be based around the fictional character of Wisely, a modern day adventurer who featured in a series novels by the author Ni Kuang. Wisely has been used in numerous Hong Kong action-adventures , including 'The Legend Of Wisely', 'The Seventh Curse', and 'The Cat'.
Raymond Wong stated, "This film's budget is very big, and there'll be copious special effects. Donnie Yen has been doing many period films of late, it's high time he did some modern films, in order to give everyone a refreshing change."
