DS Media have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Re-encounter' for the 31st January, 2012. Written and directed by Min Yong Keun ('Just Friends?'), the film is a sensitive indie drama that centres around a young couple who later discover that they were lied to about the death of their newborn child.
Synopsis
When she was still in high school, Hye Hwa (Yoo Da In, The Client) became pregnant and her boyfriend Han Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok, Pure Pumpkin Flower) left her without warning. After a difficult childbirth, she was told that her baby died. Five years later, Hye Hwa is now a veterinarian's assistant who often saves and adopts abandoned pets in her spare time. Han Soo suddenly reappears in her life with a shocking revelation: their child is alive. Unbeknownst to Hye Hwa, her baby had been given up for adoption at birth.
