PRE.GM have announced the Korean DVD release of 'Republic of Korea 1%' for the 25th August, 2010. Directed by Jo Myung Nam ('A Bold Family'), the film is an army comedy that stars actress Lee Ah Lee ('The Legend') as a tough as nails petty officer defying the odds to join the marine's elite.
Synopsis
Only 1% of marine officers make it into the Special Forces, and officer Lee Yu Mi (Lee Ah Lee) is aiming to join that elite club. The lone woman in the running, she enters the final round of training with the highest marks, but gets assigned to lead the lowest-ranked team vying for a spot in the Special Forces. To turn her team around, Yu Mi will have to earn the respect of her teammates and get pass the cheap tactics of rival Jong Pal (Lim Won Hee). Can Yu Mi make the final cut?
