Second Trailer For 'Rurouni Kenshin'

A second trailer has been released for 'Rurouni Kenshin', the upcoming live-action adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki's samurai manga. Set in the early Meiji period, the story follows a fictional assassin named Himura Kenshin, from the Bakumatsu who becomes a wanderer to protect the people of Japan.
Synopsis
Former legendary assassin Kenshin Himura (Takeru Sato) has now become a wandering samurai, offerring aid and protecting those in need as atonement for his past deeds. During this time he comes across and helps Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei). Her father opened the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu, a kendo school located in Tokyo and Kaoru is now an instructor there. Kaoru then invites Kenshin to stay at her dojo. Their relationship develops further, but Kenshin is still haunted by his violent past...
'Rurouni Kenshin' is directed by Keishi Otomo ('Ryomaden'), and stars Takeru Sato, Emi Takei, Taketo Tanaka, Munetaka Aoki, and Yu Aoi. The film is due for release across Japan on the 25th August, 2012.
