'Sophie's Revenge' On US DVD

 

Pathfinder Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD release of 'Sophie's Revenge' for the 10th July, 2012. Directed by Eva Jin, the film stars Zhang Ziyi and Fan Bingbing as two ex-lovers who work together to win back their lost loves, but soon find that not everything goes according to plan.

Synopsis

High-strung comic artist Sophie (Zhang Ziyi) is out for revenge after losing her fiance Jeff (So Ji Sub) to insufferable actress Joanna (Fan Bingbing). Chronicling her strategies to win Jeff back in her budding book "The Handbook of Love", Sophie lays out her war plan step by step, but things have a habit of backfiring in wacky ways. She enlists Joanna's ex, affable photographer Gordon (Peter Ho), to help break up the lovebirds. As their efforts to sway Jeff begin to take effect, Sophie and Gordon find themselves falling for each other instead.
