Teaser For 'Ninkyo Helper'

 

The teaser trailer has been released for 'Ninkyo Helper', an upcoming Japanese drama directed by Osho Furuya. Based on a television series of the same name, the film stars Tsuyoshi Kusanagi ('The Sinking Of Japan') as a mid-level yakuza boss who is ordered to help out in an elderly care facility.

Synopsis

Hikoichi Tsubasa (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) is a mid-level yakuza boss who runs a loan shark operation out of Roppongi, Tokyo. Due to the nature of his business, Hikoichi has no qualms using any means necessary to make money.

When Hikoichi's boss dies, his replacement Gensuke Yozan (Ken Matsudaira) wants Hikoichi to prepare himself for an executive position, and orders him to work in an elderly care facility! Hikoichi will then go through a near life altering experience while caring for others.

'Ninkyo Helper' opens across Japan on the 17th November, 2012.
