Teaser For 'Say “I Love You”'

The teaser trailer has been released for 'Say “I Love You”', an upcoming Japanese live-action adaptation of Kanae Hazuki's best-selling teen romance manga. Directed by Asako Hyuga, the story follows a distrustful high school girl who winds up in a relationship with the most popular boy in school.

Synopsis

A 16-year-old high school girl named Mei has gone her entire life without making friends or having any boyfriends due to her mistrust of others. One day Mei accidentally injures Yamato Kurosawa, the most popular boy in school. For some reason, he becomes interested in her and goes out of his way to become her friend in what begins as a totally one-sided relationship. At one point, he even kisses her to save her from a stalker. Over time, their awkward friendship grows into love.

'Say “I Love You”' stars Haruna Kawaguchi, Sota Fukushi, Tomohiro Ichikawa, Rika Adachi, Tasuku Nagase, Rima Nishizaki, and Ryosuke Yamamoto. The film opens across Japan on the 12th July, 2014.
