Trailer For 'Battle B-Boy'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Battle B-Boy', a new action comedy directed by Frank Lin. The film centres around a group of talented but financially struggling B-Boys who join an underground fighting ring in Downtown Los Angeles that uses Hip-Hop music and Break dancing to battle for money.

Synopsis

When Mike discovers his father needs money for heart surgery, he and his B-Boy friends solicit the help of Jimmy, a professional gambler, and enter the world of "Da-Fi," an underground fight-club where B-Boys and B-Girls physically battle for money and reputation. Rules are simple: fight to the beat of the music and the last team standing at the end of three song changes wins. If you can't take the heat, you better tap-out before you get knocked-out! As the fights get more dangerous, Mike must learn to work with his team and hold everyone together, or he will lose his father forever.

'Battle B-Boy' stars Jae Phan, John Kreng, Alison Dahlstrom, Ricky Cole, Richie Greenfield, Ingel Catindig, Megan Nguyen, Shauna Baker, and Shannon Baker. The film opens across the US on the 17th August, 2012.
